All my life, I've been tidying and organizing anyone and everyone’s chaos and clutter and loving it. Taking a mess and turning it into a place of calm and order for someone gives me so much joy (and dopamine - ha ha).
From warehouses full of steel, to basements littered with toys, and garages piled high with “stuff”, I've seen my share of disorder and have developed a systematic approach to getting through various organization projects. I call it my BLISS Method.
My experiences working in customer service, production, logistics and marketing, in industries ranging from retail to manufacturing, have enabled me to acquire skills and collect best practices that fit a wide range of scenarios. My BLISS method, paired with the skills and experience I’ve developed along the way, will help you thrive through overwhelming projects, tasks and disordered environments while minimizing stress. I bring ALL of this and MORE to EVERY session.
I wear many hats as a mom, a wife, a dog-mom, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, an aunt, and a friend. I’m also an avid volunteer, leading and participating in our local Scouts Group, and lending my experiences to our school's Student Nutrition Program.
Oh, and I have ADHD.
"How can you have ADHD and be so organized?" Funny thing, I didn't know I had ADHD until the summer of 2022. It really explains A LOT. On the positive - I'm creative, I'm crafty, I‘m curious, I'm drawn to sorting and categorizing, can see answers when others can't, and I LOVE puzzles. Figuring out how to make things fit together when others can’t gives me an amazing surge of dopamine.
On the other side though, I am challenged with perfectionism, anxiety, RSD, over/under stimulation, time blindness, and a bunch of other things. Being late diagnosed, I've developed strategies that help me manage my challenges.
Pair all this with my desire to help people and to do a great job, It's clear that being a professional organizer was what I was meant to do.
I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to be organized, which is why I strive to keep my rates affordable. If you're on a budget, let’s talk and get creative about how we can get through whatever task is overwhelming you.
